KOI ZEN Cellars celebrates business milestone with additional channel to bolster revenue and business performance.
Koi Zen Cellars recently celebrated its tasting room’s second anniversary. As a relatively new business in North County of San Diego, California, building the company’s brand and revenue opportunities are key priorities for building a sustainable business model. Owners Lisa and Darius Miller feel strongly that offering quality products and innovative events, while giving back to the community are the keys to their long-term success. Their unique private label wines, wine club, wine classes and tastings and other signature events have resulted in positive customer experiences. One of the most important facets of their business is community involvement; the Millers donate half of each tasting fee and 20% of all sales to a variety of local non-profit organizations. This dedication to the local community has led to loyal, expanding customers base of customers that choose Koi Zen Cellars as their wine purveyor and of choice over the bevy of others in the craft wine and craft beer industry – or as it’s now called, a movement.
Koi Zen owners Lisa and Darius, used their previous corporate experience and backgrounds to build their business model but they recently gained an advantage over competitors, to add new loyal customers while accruing a revenue channel through the Invested Traveler’s curated experiences online point of sale.
“The curated experiences platform is a very unique model for business owners – it’s rare that a strategic partnership provides you with tangible solutions to help you achieve your most important business goals – visibility and revenue”.
“With Invested Traveler, we could increase our visibility and garner revenue through our partnership. We curated two separate experiences; a two-hour wine blending class and a year-long hands-on experience which focuses on all facets of the winemaking process, from the initial crush of the grapes to creating a custom blended and private label wine, netting 240 bottles of a one-of-a-kind private vintage,” said proprietor, Lisa Miller. “These experiences are unique to Koi Zen because of our alliance with Invested Traveler.
